Police say shooting 'does not appear to be random'

Police say a man is dead after a shooting in Surrey, B.C., on Thursday night.

Officers were called to a shooting near the 10800 block of 129 Street around 7:40 p.m., according to a press release from the Surrey Police Service.

Officers found a man suffering from life-threatening injuries. He died at the scene despite life-saving measures, according to police.

"While the motive is still under investigation, the incident does not appear to be random in nature," said Sgt. Tige ******* in the release.
