Surrey's King George SkyTrain station to close for 6 weeks

Station will close for maintenance April 27 and is scheduled to reopen in mid-June

The King George SkyTrain Station in Surrey will close for six weeks for what TransLink is calling "essential maintenance" from April 27 until mid-June.

Expo Line service, which normally terminates at King George Station, will temporarily end at Surrey Central Station. There will be no trains running to or from King George Station.

TransLink said in a news release that components of the track that have been in use since it opened 30 years ago need replacing.
